چکیده
CVCS-225-86 .. This technical report consists of three related papers in the area of distributed programming environments. Incremental Attribute Evaluation in Distributed Language-Based Environments presents algorithms that extend existing technology for the generation of single-user languagebased editors from attribute grammars to the cases of multiple-user concurrent and distributed environments. Multi-User Distributed Language-Based Environment, an extended abstract, provides additional information on how to apply the algorithms. Reliability in Distributed Programming Environments presents additional algorithms that extend our results to unreliable networks. Smart load shedding and distributed generation resources rescheduling to improve distribution system restoration performance
After a permanent fault occurs if it is not possible to supply the load in the network, the optimal load restoration scheme allows the system to restoration the load with the lowest exit cost, the lowest load interruption, and in the shortest possible time. This article introduces a new design called Smart Load Shedding, abbreviated SLS. In the proposed SLS scheme, the types of devices in smart...
متن کاملRegulatory Impacts on Distributed Generation and Upstream Transmission Substation Expansion Planning: A Novel Stochastic Bi-level Model
In this paper, a novel framework is proposed to study impacts of regulatory incentive on distributed generation (DG) investment in sub-transmission substations, as well as upgrading of upstream transmission substations. Both conventional and wind power technologies are considered here. Investment incentives are fuel cost, firm contracts, capacity payment and investment subsidy relating to wind ...
متن کاملOptimal Distributed Generation Planning in Radial Distribution Networks Considering Protection Coordination Limits
Distributed generation (DG) has been widely used in distribution network to reduce the energy losses, improve voltage profile and system reliability, etc. The location and capacity of DG units can influence on probability of protection mal-operation in distribution networks. In this paper, a novel model for DG planning is proposed to find the optimum DG location and sizing in radial distr...
متن کاملFuel Consumption Reduction and Energy Management in Stand-Alone Hybrid Microgrid under Load Uncertainty and Demand Response by Linear Programming
A stand-alone microgrid usually contains a set of distributed generation resources, energy storage system and loads that can be used to supply electricity of remote areas. These areas are small in terms of population and industry. Connection of these areas to the national distribution network due to the high costs of constructing transmission lines is not economical. Optimal utilization and eco...
متن کاملRobust inter and intra-cell layouts design model dealing with stochastic dynamic problems
In this paper, a novel quadratic assignment-based mathematical model is developed for concurrent design of robust inter and intra-cell layouts in dynamic stochastic environments of manufacturing systems. In the proposed model, in addition to considering time value of money, the product demands are presumed to be dependent normally distributed random variables with known expectation, variance, a...
